Campaigners protesting against a road scheme, which will impact Pogmoor's Penny Pie Park have taken part in a vigil overnight.
It comes as the road scheme has been approved, it's aiming to reduce traffic congestion on Dodworth Road between the M1 and the Town Centre.
Protester Peter Giles has told us the park's the heart and lungs of the area and has vowed to keep campaigning despite the scheme's approval.
Barnsley Council told us all alternatives have been considered and doing nothing is not an option.
They also say work to protect traffic management, the future of the borough and it's investment is crucial.
