The Fire Brigades Union are heading to Parliament this afternoon.
South Yorkshire firefighters are campaigning to make flooding a statutory duty in England, at a meeting taking place today (1pm-3pm).
MPs from South Yorkshire will be in attendance, with expected attendees including Rosie Winterton, Clive Betts, Ed Miliband, Gill Furness, and Sarah Champion.
The Fire Brigades Union (FBU) has been campaigning for flooding as a statutory duty since the floods in 2015.
Firefighters will also discuss building fire safety regulations and inspection regimes within South Yorkshire, along with calls for a fairer funding formula.
