Coronavirus: mental health support 'still available' in South Yorkshire, during pandemic

There are concerns some people in South Yorkshire are suffering with things like stress, depression and anxiety because of the pandemic - but fear asking for help.

Mind Over Matter is urging people to get help, if they need it.

The charity believes, although there is more awareness of mental ill health, many people are still bottling up their feelings.

Staff at the organisation say having a chat with someone about how you are feeling 'can make all the difference'.

Meanwhile, around 20 million radio listeners have heard from a host of celebrities, sports stars and royalty, as part of the 'mental health minute'.

The special broadcast, just before 11am, was broadcast on stations across the UK, to mark the beginning on mental health awareness week.
