Barnsley based ASOS praised - as other companies are called out for lack of sustainability

Fashion retailer ASOS - which has a large warehouse in Grimethorpe - has bucked the trend, as it has been praised for it's work surrounding sustainability.

It comes as a report by a group of MP's has found some clothing brands are not doing enough to protect the environment or their workers.

Among them are JD Sports, TK Maxx, Amazon, Sports Direct, and Boohoo.

Chair of the Environmental Committee, MP Mary Creagh, says 'there has to be change'.

Amazon has declined to comment - while Boohoo and JD have defended their ethical records.
