Manic Street Preachers - Walk Me To The Bridge

Manic Street Preachers formed in Wales in 1986 scoring their first Top 10 in 1992. Since then they’ve had 15 Top 10 singles including 2 Number 1’s ‘If You Tolerate This Your Children Will Be Next’ as well as ‘The Masses Against The Classes’. In 1998 they scored their only Number 1 album with ‘This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours’. ‘Walk Me To The Bridge’ is the 1st track from their 12th studio album ‘Futurology’. It was written as the band crossed the Oresund Bridge that links Denmark to Sweden and is about an out of body experience. The Manic Street Preachers are set to play the V Festivals next month. In 1996 they won an Ivor Novello Award for the single ‘A Design For Life’, while the year later they scored 2 Brit Awards for Best Album and Best Group in 1997 and again in 1999.
